Beginner

For the first time student, or someone that would enjoy a little more information regarding the proper alignment of poses. Movements are slower and poses held, but not for long periods of time. This class is wonderful to get a feel of how your body moves, and to help with body awareness.

 

Level 1-2
For the beginner or intermediate yogi, this class offers more in-depth instruction in postures/asanas for those who are ready for a personal challenge. Movements may be quicker, poses may beheld for a longer period of time and Salutations are intergrated into the practice. Prep work  for arm balances and inversions may be introduced into the practice. This is a great class to challenge yourself in learning to connect the breath with each movement.

Level 2

For the intermediate to advanced yogi and yogini, this class is Ashtanga based with quick vinyasa flow sun salutations and advanced core strengthening. This practice can include arm balances and inversions. It is highly recommended that you take five Level 1-2 classes prior to trying this class, along with prep for inversions. This is definitely a class that will take you to your edge and challenge the body and mind.


Level 2-3
For the intermediate to advanced yogi and yogini, this class continues to be an Ashtanga practice based with quick vinyasa flow sun salutations and advanced core strengthening. This practice includes arm balances and inversions. It is highly recommended that you take five Level 1-2 classes prior to trying this class or maybe trying a couple of Level 2 classes. 

Flow Yoga
For all yogis and yoginis to try. This class offers a Vinyasa flow style, in that each movement is connected to the breath. One movement~One Breath. Prepare to sweat in this practice, as the movements are quick so definitely bring a towel. This is a great class to work on arm and core strength. This is a class for all! 

Pilates
This class focuses on your abs and back, helping you build the essential core muscles. You'll see the results in your abs and in your posture. A strong core will help muscle imbalances that lead to sore backs - this is a great class for runners and cyclists!

Pilates Fusion
This class  continues to help you build the essential core muscles and is the next step in your pilates practice. These pilates movements are essentail to building a better stronger core which helps creates the stability you need with all sports. So whether you are a yogi, runner, cyclist or hiker, this class will help you stay strong and centered.


Community Class
This class  is offered to the community for only $5.00 a class. It is DDY's way of saying thank you for all of the blessings and great things that have come into our space. This class is an all-levels class and there are a lot of beginners, so if that's you, this may be the perfect class on a Saturday morning.  


Power Yoga
For all yogis and yoginis that need a quick yoga before you start your day. Class is only one-hour and is packed with core building movements. Classes are taught in a Vinyasa flow style; however modifications are taught for every movement. So come give it a try and "get your yoga on" in the morning!

Club Yoga
Have you ever wanted to get to a yoga class where it was just fun? A class where you could dance if you wanted too and yet challenged you enough to build up a sweat? Well, if that's you, please come to Club Yoga! This class is filled with fun upbeat music and allows more "yoga play" in class. So maybe you are trying a handstand in the middle of the room, working on an inversion or maybe you just need to be around great energy and sound! If any of you are that , then we would love to practice with you! This class will only be offered the 1st Friday of each month or unless we are feeling a little funky and need to get our groove on! Then you might just see another class on the schedule. So come on by and shake your asana!


Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a beautiful practice that uses little to no muscles, just breath. Poses are created to allow the body to open and stretch with little movement. Through this practice you will develop a better control of the breath and begin to connect with the body in a different way. This is a great class to take before a more active (Yang) practice. Blankets, bolsters and blocks may be used to help the body let go and relax, finding the very edges of the body and mind.

 

Suspension Fusion Mix

This class incorporates elements of circuit training that integrates strength and flexibility using props such as covered resistance tubes, resistance bands, suspension trainers, exercise balls, and pilates rings. Incorporating familiar sculpting exercises such as squats, lunges, bicep curls. This class is a thorough workout that can help you build the strength you need to advance in your yoga practice. Best for students that are already physically active.

 

Power Flow

 A blend of Vinyasa Flow and Power Yoga. This community class is 5.00 per student. Come prepared to build strength and increase your flexibility of your body and mind as you are encouraged to find your own personal edge. All levels welcome!
