Intro to Yoga~Beginners
This beginning yoga practice covers breathing techniques and basic yoga postures/asanas. You will become more in tune with your body, as you strengthen, lengthen and tone. Through focus and relaxation you will improve your breath awareness and control. This practice will provide beginning postures/asanas and will provide a great foundation for you to move into a Level 1-2 class.

Level 1-2
For the beginner or intermediate yogi, this class offers more in-depth instruction in postures/asanas for those who are ready for a personal challenge. Movements may be quicker, poses may beheld for a longer period of time and Salutations are intergrated into the practice. Prep work  for arm balances and inversions may be introduced into the practice. This is a great class to challenge yourself in learning to connect the breath with each movement.

Level 2-3

For the intermediate to advanced yogi and yogini, this class is Ashtanga based with quick vinyasa flow sun salutations and advanced core strengthening. This practice can include arm balances and inversions. It is highly recommended that you take five Level 1-2 classes prior to trying this class, along with prep for inversions. This is definitely a class that will take you to your edge and challenge the body and mind.

Flow Yoga
For all yogis and yoginis to try. This class offers a Vinyasa flow style, in that each movement is connected to the breath. One movement~One Breath. Prepare to sweat in this practice, as the movements are quick so definitely bring a towel. This is a great class to work on arm and core strength. This is a class for all!

Pilates
This class focuses on your abs and back, helping you build the essential core muscles. You'll see the results in your abs and in your posture. A strong core will help muscle imbalances that lead to sore backs - this is a great class for runners and cyclists!

Yogalates

Mantra Mondays
This class will allow you to deepen your practice, as you learn traditional yoga mantras and/or create your own. As you find your mantra, you will learn how to use the breath and connect it to your intention/mantra. This class will provide you with an opportunity to begin to learn how to connect your intention with your asana practice.
This practice is open to all levels.

Poses/Asanas will be held a little longer, allowing you to restore the body. This is a perfect end of the week  practice or a  perfect beginning of the week practice !

Well, if that's you, please come to Club Yoga! This class is filled with fun upbeat music and allows more "yoga play" in class. So maybe you are trying a handstand in the middle of the room, working on an inversion or maybe you just need to be around great energy and sound! If any of you are that , then we would love to practice with you! This class will only be offered the 1st Friday of each month or unless we are feeling a little funky and need to get our groove on! Then you might just see another class on the schedule. So come on by and shake your asana!

Chair Yoga
Can't quite get down on the floor? Back isn't what it should be? Chiropractor told you to do it? Enjoy all the benefits of yoga without leaving your seat! (Temporarily not @ studio)

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a beautiful practice that uses little to no muscles, just breath. Poses are created to allow the body to open and stretch with little movement. Through this practice you will develop a better control of the breath and begin to connect with the body in a different way. This is a great class to take before a more active (Yang) practice. Blankets, bolsters and blocks may be used to help the body let go and relax, finding the very edges of the body and mind. (Class will return in Fall/Winter season)
