Jody Theissen brings to light the depth of the Yogic practice through a heart-centered approach.  An ardent student of the practice herself, she continually looks for new ways to de-mystify and bring this ancient art to life in our contemporary and at times chaotic world.

“I believe in the power of the breath as it serves to still the judgmental and cacophonous mind.  By allowing the breath to work efficiently and effectively through the physical and energetic body, we gain access to the secrets of health and ease by allowing the release of stored up stress and tension which inevitably leads to dis-comfort and  dis-ease,”
states Jody.

“We all have to power to change the way we view ourselves as well as how we view this world we live in.  Yoga provides us with the vehicle to continue on our journey towards self- understanding and our undeniable link to all that is divine.  By opening the heart we gain incredible insight that teaches us how to make better and more intelligent choices that benefit not only ourselves but also those around us.”

Jody currently holds a Yoga Alliance 200 hour certification through Cloud Nine Yoga.  An ardent reader, she continues to study the works of ancient and contemporary masters, Yogic texts and commentaries as well as attend various workshops and retreats in effort to enrich and engage her students in each and every class.
