Hello Everyone,
I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving Day!
So now that the day has passed, let us not forget to bring thankfulness into our lives on a daily basis. Bringing gratitude into our lives helps us live in the present, without the feelings of being 'left-out' or the feelings that we are lacking something in our lives. Instead gratefulness allows us to be the very person we were met to be. The person that is full, a person that is whole and perfect! And not perfect in the way that we have allowed ourselves to believe, based on someone else's measure of success but perfect in that everything that we need for this journey in life, is within us now! Not tomorrow, not wishing for something or someone different, but in the now! Perfection!
It's funny, I saw something on facebook that made me laugh and then thought, it is truly ironic that we think of gratefulness for all of the things we have in our lives and then bundle up, stand in line and buy the next thing to help us feel 'better".
So perhaps as you were standing in line with the thousands and maybe millions of other people this early morning hoping to score the next gadget, but let us not lose the meaning of yesterday! Or maybe, just maybe, you stood in that line because you felt what Thanks Giving Day was about!

So having now talked about bringing new things into our lives and gratefulness, we wanted to let you know about two new classes and events coming to DDY . Hopefully each event will allow us to continue with thoughts of gratitude and giving!
Pre-natal Class-Thursday @ 6pm
Begins Dec-1st
This class is open to all students, but with special attention given to poses that help women while they are expecting. If you are expecting, we recommend that you speak with your doctor first to ensure that this is a practice that is recommended for your body and your baby.

Restorative Yoga-Tuesdays @ 7:30pm
Begins Dec 6th
We will now have a restorative class every Tuesday for the months of December and January. This class is for all-levels and No Experience is necessary! Due to the nature of the class, however it is limited to 10 students and therefore prior sign-up is suggested.

12/02-Holiday Event @ DDY-4pm
Please join us for a little food, fun and laughter as we celebrate the holidays. Some of our DDY students will be selling their jewelry and other items, so please come and support them. Also, it's a great time to chat with your favorite teacher!
Oh and not only is it a perfect time to purchase a few gifts for others, it's a great time to buy some gift certificates!

12/02-Club Yoga @ 6pm
We will still have our regular class, so come and browse before or after class!
12/03-EFT Workshop @ 10am
Join Eli for this amazing new way of changing our thoughts and feelings which will help you to change your body into a better healthier you! What a great way to bring in the new year!
12/18-Winter Solstice @ 11am
Lisa, Alisha, Michelle and Susan J will be leading you through a wonderful and sacred practice of 108 mala for the Winter Solstice. This is a powerful way to practice and allows for the much needed energy we will need through the winter months. We hope you can join them!
12/24-Candlelight Practice @ 5pm
Angela will be guiding a soft and gentle practice this evening. Angela will allow you to fall onto the earth, forget your worries and focus on your life's intentions. Not just your wishes or dreams but your true life's intention! This is a great chance to allow yourself to 'be present' before the presents arrive!
12/25-Sue's Birthday Bash/Practice
It's Sue's birthday so come and celebrate with her!
Due to the holidays and other unexpected circumstances, we have had to cancel a couple of classes:
This Sunday 11/27 @ 9am/Level 2 Class
This Monday 11/28 @ 7:30pm/Meditation Class
Saturday Dec 24th @ 10am/Karma Class
Sunday Dec 25th @ 9am/Level 2 Class
Should we have any other classes we need to cancel, we will definitely let you know. We hope not!
